Visualization
Visualization is the process of seeing in your mind images of yourself enjoying what you want. The key to effective visualization is seeing those pictures in your mind so clearly that you feel as if you already have what you want now.
One great way to get a vivid picture in your mind is to create a Vision Board. John Assaraf talked about his experiences with it in The Secret and how he realized years later that he moved into the exact house he had visualized by looking at his vision boards.
A vision board is simply a collection of pictures of the things you want, whether it's a new house, car, vacation, or physique. I put together some vision boards of the new truck, motorcycle, and ATV that I want. I found some great photos online through some of the manufacturer's websites. You can also cut out photos from magazines, brochures, and catalogs.
Another powerful way to assist you in visualizing is to actually go and test drive the new car or go for a tour of the home you want. Just today, I went to the Toyota dealership and took a ride in the new Tacoma I want. I even had my salesman, Keith, take pictures of me in it.
Now I've printed the photos and placed them on my vision board. I've made a habit of taking just a few minutes a day to look at my vision boards, close my eyes, and see myself already having the things that I want. Add to this process the feelings of being grateful in advance, and you are powerfully attracting to you what you desire.
There are some other tricks to making visualization even more powerful too. Try to get all your senses involved when seeing what you want in your mind. Feel the steering wheel in your hands, hear the sound of the engine, and even smell the that new car fragrance. I cheated and took an empty water bottle with me when I test drove my truck and let it sit in the cab when we drove around. When I left, I put the lid on it to capture that new car smell. Now I have it to assist me in my visualization.
It may seem strange to go the extent I have to attract what you want, but ask yourself how bad do you want it? If your desire is as strong as mine, you will do everything to get it sooner than later. If anything, visualization is just fun!
Just to share a quick little success story... I recently moved into a new place. For about a month I had been visualizing moving into a house with a view of the mountains and access to the lake. I didn't realize it at first, but one day when I was walking around the yard, I looked out to see a "window" through the trees with a view of the mountains! And the lake is just down the road!
This stuff works. Try it. I think you'll be amazed at just how powerful visualization really is.

What would Love do now?
When asking myself that question, I have pondered the following:
Love desires the best for all concerned. Love accepts, sets free, lets go, yet holds dear, but stays unattached. Love is gentle and kind. Love smiles. Love heals and encourages. Love sees beauty in all things. Love is easy, feels good, and appreciates. Love laughs and is happy with. Love is playful and trusting. Love allows, cares for, and has faith. Love forgives. Love grows and supports, teaches and is patient. Love is generous and gives freely. Love enjoys and is joyous. Love celebrates, applauds, and roots for someone. Love welcomes openly, invites, and embraces softly. Love relaxes and releases tension. Love creates. Love is living fully. And Love is abundant.
Love is the answer.
Love is the way.
I hope that you'll choose to love today.

What Do You Love?
What is my bliss? What makes me happy? What makes my heart sing? What do I love to do? What inspires me? What do I find beautiful? What do I think is awesome, exciting, and fun?
Then I started to answer those questions. Here's what I wrote (in no particular order):
Flying, skydiving, paragliding, bungee jumping, snowboarding, riding my motorcycle, ATV riding, racing go-karts, speeding, hiking, walking, sleeping, hot showers, being organized, spending money, Switchfoot, Snow Patrol, CWG, The Secret, Porsche 911 Targa, Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 Access Cab, Yamaha Grizzly 700, Lindal Custom Homes, tree houses, nature, clear blue sky days with lots of warm sun, puffy clouds, space, the stars on a clear night, The Universe, diversity of Life, Earth, the seasons, fall leaves, Halloween, Christmas, Holidays, snowmen, Fireworks, parades, festivals, concerts, Going to movies, petting dogs, giving flowers, mountains, lakes, streams, beaches, redwood trees, huge old-growth trees, travel, road trips, sightseeing, Sweets, ice cream, Mighty O doughnuts, Home cooked meals, my girlfriend’s Mom’s cooking, my aunt’s cooking, my grandma’s cooking, Pizza, quesadillas, crab cakes, my uncle’s green bean casserole, PCC, Whole Foods Market, Playing basketball, football, Frisbee, volleyball, Taking pictures, sharing photos, making videos, playing guitar, writing in my journal, writing blog posts, writing poems, writing songs, singing, expanding and editing my websites, talking to my friends, visiting with family, chatting on the Internet, Kindness, Caring, Being Helpful, Inspiring, Sharing, Giving, being generous, Playing, Laughing, Hugs, Kissing and Loving my girlfriend, holding her, dancing with her, walking with her, holding her, looking into her eyes, playing with her, laying with her in the grass, being with her, just doing anything with her…
OK, OK. You get the idea. :)
Anyway, the point of thinking about all this was to get in touch with what feels really good and joyful in my life, and to focus on more of that, instead of things I don’t like or want. That way I’ll more powerfully attract more of what I do want.
So what do you love? Let yourself really get in touch with what’s in your heart. If you do that for just a few moments each day, you’ll be amazed at how many more good things show up in your life!

Follow Your Bliss
Jack Canfield said he has a saying: "If it ain't fun, don't do it!" and his primary aim is to feel and experience joy. Neale Donald Walsch said "Joy, Love, Freedom, Happiness, Laughter. That's what it is. And if you just experience joy sitting there and meditating for an hour, by golly, do that. If you experience joy eating a salami sandwich, then do that!"
This theme of following your heart, finding your joy, and doing what you love has been popping up a lot in my life lately. My girlfriend recently sent me an email encouraging me to read a book on the subject. I haven't yet, but now I'm reconsidering it. Rhonda Byrne encourages us to ask "What is my joy?" in The Secret book, and that as you find it and commit yourself to joy, the Law of Attraction will pour an avalanche of joyful things, people, circumstances, events, and opportunities into your life, all because you are radiating joy. She sums it up by writing "Be happy now. Feel good now. That's the only thing you have to do. If that's the only thing you get, then you have received the greatest part of The Secret."
"When you follow your bliss, you live in a constant space of joy. You open yourself to the abundance of the Universe." - Lisa Nichols
Notes from the Universe
One thing I have come to love getting daily in my Inbox is something I signed up for months ago called "Notes from the Universe". I learned about them on Mike Dooley's website after Ronda Byrne recommended them through her Secret Scrolls newsletter. These notes are written from the perspective of the Universe, and they are lighthearted, fun, and a delight to receive. Every note is inspiring and resonates with the Law of Attraction, and you can customize them to remind you of your heart's desires. If you would also like to receive Mike's gift of personalized Universe Notes, here is the link to receive them:
Mike Dooley's Note from the Universe that inspired me recently was:
Have you ever just started talking out loud as if you were some future version of yourself, Nathan, explaining what the ride to the top was like? As if you were a mentor sharing insider tips with someone you're really fond of? "When I first started out I had no idea of how I'd get where I am today..." kind of talk? You know, to yourself, in your car, in the shower, dowsing for water?
"But I knew better than to mess with the hows. Just define what you want, in terms of the end result. Visualize, as if it had already occurred. Take action, no matter how futile. Then, in time, 'Whoosh!' the floodgates finally burst open.... That's how I got my home with a view of the mountains.
"And you'll think to yourself, as I now do, 'Whatever did I do to deserve this much?' But of course, deep down you'll know how easy it really was. So you'll wonder who in your life you can share your secrets with... "
Trust me, Nathan, no one will laugh at you. Especially not when you receive $50,000.
Tallyho, amigo!
