A message from Rhonda Byrne, Creator of The Secret:
"How do I stop my negative thoughts?" - is a question that I have been asked many times. If you have ever asked this question then you will feel such enormous relief in knowing the answer, because it is so simple. How do you stop negative thoughts? You plant good thoughts!
When you try to stop negative thoughts, you are focusing on what you don't want - negative thoughts - and you will attract an abundance of them. They can never disappear if you are focused on them. The "stop" part is irrelevant - the negative thoughts are your focus. It doesn't matter if you are trying to stop negative thoughts or control them or push them away, the result is the same. Your focus is on negative thoughts, and by the law of attraction you are inviting more of them to you.
The truth is always simple and it is always easy. To stop negative thoughts, just plant good thoughts! Deliberately plant good thoughts! You plant good thoughts by making it a daily practice to appreciate all the things in your day. Appreciate your health, your car, your home, your family, your job, your friends, your surroundings, your meals, your pets, and the magnificent beauty of the day. Compliment, praise, and give thanks to all things. Every time you say "Thank you" it is a good thought! As you plant more and more good thoughts, the negative thoughts will be wiped out. Why? Because your focus is on good thoughts, and what you focus on you attract.
So don't give any attention to negative thoughts. Don't worry about them. If any come, make light of them, shrug them off, and let them be your reminder to deliberately think more good thoughts now.
The more good thoughts you can plant in a day, the faster your life will be utterly transformed into all good. If you spend only one day speaking of good things and saying "Thank you" at every single opportunity, you will not believe your tomorrow. Deliberately thinking good thoughts is exactly like planting seeds. As you think good thoughts you are planting good seeds inside you, and the Universe will transform those seeds into a garden of paradise. How will the garden of paradise appear? As your life!

Love Really IS The Answer
We've all heard it at least once in our lives. "Love is the answer". But have you ever considered whether love really is the answer? That is what I'd like to explore here in this post because I came across that phrase again today, and the question stuck with me. Is love really the answer? And what questions does it answer?
First I would like to define what I believe love is. Sure there is romantic love, but that is not what I'm going to explore here. Love is a simple word for a broad spectrum of feelings and experiences, but for the purpose's of this post, the love I'm writing about here is that which frees, allows, accepts, supports, shares, gives, and unites. It is life affirming, empowering, healing, creative, and inspiring. And it is that which is useful and helpful in bringing about the very best for all concerned.
Whenever I ask myself the big questions in life, I always end up with the same answer. Whether it is "What is my purpose in life?", "Why am I here?", or even "Who am I?", the answer is always Love. If I ever want guidance on what to do next, I ask myself "What do I do now?", and the answer is Love. If I find myself in a predicament and wonder "How do I respond to this?", the clearest answer is Love.
Sure there are many other ways to answer these questions, but Love is the grandest of them all. I can not think of anything greater or higher to aim for. I am not saying that I succeed in responding with love to everything that comes up in my life. Often I fall way short of it, but I do keep reminding myself that Love is the ultimate goal. Even if I fail, most of my efforts have been positive to some degree because I strived to love.
So here are some more questions to consider. What is important in your life? What matters at the end of the day? When you look back on your life in the end, what will you have wished you did more of? What do you want for your children? What do you wish your parents would have given you more of? What is the best feeling you have ever experienced? What do you want to give more of? What word comes to mind when you think of your closest friends and family?
Love.
Love really is the answer.
The only question to ask then is:
What would Love do now?

The 7 Natural Laws of the Universe
The Law of Attraction is just part of one of the 7 natural laws of the Universe: the Law of Vibration. Of the 7 Laws, it may be the most important in how our everyday lives play out, but all of the laws are in effect whether we are aware of them or not. Knowing what the 7 laws are and how they work can make a significant difference in applying them to create the life you truly desire.
The 7 natural laws are in no particular order, but since the Law of Attraction has been discussed so much in The Secret, we'll start with it.
1. The Law of Vibration states that everything vibrates and nothing rests. Vibrations of the same frequency resonate with each other, so like attracts like energy. Everything is energy, including your thoughts. Consistently focusing on a particular thought or idea attracts its vibrational match. How to apply it: Focus on what you want instead of what you don't want.
2. The Law of Relativity states that nothing is what it is until you relate it to something. Point of view is determined by what the observer is relating to. The nature, value, or quality of something can only be measured in relation to another object. How to apply it: Practice relating your situation to something worse than yours, and you will feel good about where you are.
3. The Law of Cause and Effect states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Every cause has an effect, and every effect has a cause. Be at cause for what you want, and you will get the effect. All thought is creative, so be careful what you wish for... you will get it. How to apply it: Consistently think and act on what you want to be effective at getting it.
4. The Law of Polarity states that everything has an opposite. Hot-Cold, Light-Dark, Up-Down, Good-Bad. In the absense of that which you are not, that which you are... is not. Polar opposites make existence possible. If what you are not didn't coexist with what you are, then what you are could not be. Therefore, do not condemn or criticize what you are not or what you don't want. How to apply it: Look for the good in people and situations. What you focus on, you make bigger in your life.
5. The Law of Rythym states that everything has a natural cycle. The tides go in and back out, night follows day, and life regenerates itself. We all have good times and bad times, but nothing stays the same. Change is constant. Knowing that "This too shall pass" is great wisdom about life's ebb and flow. How to apply it: When you are on a down swing, know that things will get better. Think of the good times that are coming.
6. The Law of Gestation states that everything takes time to manifest. All things have a beginning and grow into form as more energy is added to it. Thoughts are like seeds planted in our fertile minds that bloom into our physical experience if we have nourished them. How to apply it: Stay focused and know that your goals will become reality when the time is right.
7. The Law of Transmutation states that energy moves in and out of physical form. Your thoughts are creative energy. The more you focus your thinking on what you want, the more you harness your creative power to move that energy into results in your life. The Universe organizes itself according to your thoughts. How to apply it: Put your energy and effort, your thoughts and actions into attracting what you want, and you will surely attract the physical manifestation of that energy.
The 7 Natural Laws of the Universe are working with you and for you. Take charge of your life by focusing on what you want, and by law, you will have it.

Forgive Yourself
We all have those days when it is hard to look at ourselves in the mirror. For whatever reason, we judge the reflection looking back at us. We hate what we see and turn away. We find things to distract us from our own demeaning self-talk and tend to resist or suppress how we feel so we don't have to deal with it. We don't realize that the simple act of forgiving and accepting ourselves could spare us the pain caused by holding on to self-destructive emotions.
All judgments are a form of resistance. Resistance creates tension, friction, and blockages that lead to pain and suffering. Energy flows freely when there is nothing obstructing it. Judging ourselves is like building a dam that restricts the flow of well being within us. Health and vitality is our natural state if allow our bodies to heal by letting go of the resistance we carry.
Forgiving yourself is the first step to release this resistance. A simple way to do this is to close your eyes and place your hands on your chest over your heart. Allow yourself to take a deep breath and relax for a moment. Now speak to the critical and disapproving part of you that is holding on to your self-judgments and say gently: "I'm sorry. I forgive myself. And now I deeply and completely accept myself."
Forgiving and accepting yourself frees you to experience greater peace and ease. You'll feel yourself lighten up and let go of what you held onto so tightly. Doing so is effortless, and you'll discover that all the effort was in resisting it. Forgiving yourself is letting go and allowing the flow of well being to move through you unrestrained.
So remember the next time you are quick to judge yourself that you can simply let it go and forgive yourself. We all make mistakes. If we didn't, we would never learn and grow. See your challenges as blessings that give you the opportunity to make a new choice to be who you want to be now. We are all doing the best we can in the moment with what we have and know. With each mistake, we gain new knowledge and experience to make a wiser choice. Beating ourselves up about it only strains our progress. Forgiving ourselves frees us up to move ahead.
Most importantly, forgiving yourself is loving yourself. If you aren't loving and accepting yourself, you can't love anyone else in your life fully. You may also notice that in forgiving yourself, you'll find it easier to forgive others you may have held resentments and judgments about. (Hint: Your judgments were never about them anyway... The people in your life are really just reflections of yourself.)
Forgive, Accept, Let Go, Release, Bless, and Love... and you'll be so happy and peaceful. :)

Anything Fast
Since I have explored most of the offerings of each teacher in The Secret, I have come to love most of what Joe Vitale produces. One book that he's endorsed, "Anything Fast" by Stuart Lichtman, is the most comprehensive guide I've read for attracting A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G you want FAST! I got it a couple of months ago and have studied it thoroughly. Now that I've finished reading the last bonus I received, I've been authorized to share it with you.
Though the title says "How to Get Lots of Money for Anything Fast", this book explains a process that can be used to quickly attract anything you desire, whether it is a health related goal, a partner, the perfect job, a new car, or your dream home. Included with the ebook are nine unadvertised bonuses that cover a wide range of things from "becoming lucky" to "turning around dicey situations". There is also a "Super Achievement Clearing Process" that is extremely powerful at removing blocks in your subconscious mind.
Stuart began using the techniques that later evolved into what he calls the Cybernetic Transposition Method when he was a student at M.I.T. After having a near-death experience and being clinically dead for 8 minutes, he was awakened to abilities he'd never been aware of. He began meditating two hours a day to "receive packets of information" that would become the actual nuts and bolts of the process. Since then, he has personally trained over 50,000 people around the world to use it and has helped thousands more through his book.
Here's what Joe Vitale had to say about it: "Here was a precise set of instructions on having, doing, and being anything you could imagine. I read over the material in awe. While I've been investigating the processes for creating whatever you want in your life, I had never come across anything that clearly walked people through all the steps of picking, naming, and getting their dreams. Here, in short, were formulas for miracles."
I agree with Joe. This book is literally an operation manual for your mind. Though I'm still studying it and working on applying it in my own life, I didn't want to waste any time sharing it with you now that I'm allowed to. Click on the book to read more about it.
